ABOUT US
Pit Bros Productions is a publishing company dedicated one hundred per cent to horror, sci
fi, and action comic books.
It was founded in 2005 by two
life-long-buddies, illustrator Martin Blanco and writer Gonzalo
Ventura, when both of them decided to make their dream come true and
create their own space so that they could tell all the stories they had
in mind.
Today, publishing the stories of its founders is not the company`s sole purpose. Its intentions are also to edit those writers and illustrators who have points in common with the general artistic concept of PBP.
The company mixes the old school spirit from the masters of
the genre with a new refreshing way of creating:
Making each story
with the old day tradition of concepts, aesthetics and narration, but
putting in new ideas.
Above all, the creators believe in the mystique of comic books; in the
almighty panels and dialogue balloons.
Pit Bros. Productions is a company founded by two comic book guys who
work in a different way. Their own way.
Martin and Gonzalo´s primary goal is to convey their personal points of views and unique styles in every project they start.

GONZALO VENTURA

Gonzalo was born in Buenos Aires on 1973.
He has participated in several literary workshops and has read poetry to others for over 5 years.
He has been working as General Director of Creativity in a Publicity Agency in Argentina for the last 9 years.
He has writen the screenplay for an erotic TV series on Tango for Playboy TV.
He is currently writing the scripts for a new vampire TV series and is finishing a poem book entitled " Snap Shots from hell"
Sparing time from his hectic schedule, he is working on his first novel.

Art Director and Photographer based in Barcelona, Spain.
Graduated with a degree in visual communication and graphic design in Buenos Aires, he has made his first steps as a graphic designer in Studios and Advertising Companies.
Experienced in Brand Design, Packaging Design and Website Processes. Pablo has developed identity and branding systems, promotional materials, packaging and web designs for a wide range of clients in South America, Asia and Europe. He currently collaborates with Pit Bros. Productions developing its web site, its logos and its typographic designs for comics and graphic novels.

Silva Brothers. They are Manuel (35) and Leonardo (23).
Illustrators and sculptors from Laferrere, they have participated in several comics from Argentina such as El Laucha, Cazador, Mutant Generation Comic y Bastión.
They have worked as Ariel Olivetti and Jorge Lucas' assistants making comics for DC and Marvel (Wolverine, Black Panther, Hulk, Colossus, Ronan, Iron Man, Superman).
Manuel studied in Ariel Olivettti's school and he is currently working with his brother Leonardo for Gore Group, -together with Master Martin Canale-, making sculptures and designs for Sideshow Collectibles and the local market.

MARTIN BLANCO

Martin Blanco was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on June 15 , 1974.
He studied Fine Arts in the Fine Arts University of Buenos Aires.
He has been a free-lance illustrator since 1999, and has participated in numerous drawing contests obtaining several prizes and distinctions, and has organized several exhibits of his work in Buenos Aires and Barcelona.
Besides his work in Pit Bros. Productions, he works as a collaborator and as part of the creative team for magazines in Argentina, Spain, United States, England and Australia. |

DANIEL BLANCO

Daniel was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 7, 1948.
At the age of 11 he and his family traveled to San Francisco, California, where he lived for 10 years. He majored in English Grammar and English Literature.
He returned to Buenos Aires at the age of 21, and has been residing there ever since. He has been teaching English in companies for over 24 years and is a counselor to Pit Bros. Productions in English Text and Style.
